まえがきは意訳です。原文は “There are three principles on which human life flourishes, and they are contradicted by the culture of education under which most teachers have to labor and most students have to endure.”でした。

スライドも、たぶんプロンプターも使わずに、ただ話すだけのスピーチですが、軽妙で面白い。終盤の death valley のエピソードも鮮やか。

個別性(Individuality)を、やや意味合いがずれますが Character とすれば、3Cとして思い出しやすくなります。
